2009 Cuba Salsa Holiday Experience 
11 nights in Cuba from Wednesday 29^th April 2009

DAY 1 – Wednesday 29^th April 2009
Fly to Havana, arriving at José Martí International Airport Transfer to Hotel Occidental Miramar 4 (*) where a welcome cocktail will be waiting for you..

DAY 2 – Thursday
In order to get a sense of the city and its people, we will start the day with a City Tour. We will have lunch (included) together at a renowned restaurant “Meson de La Flota” in Havana Vieja, Old Havana, before heading back to the hotel. The evening is at your disposal: you may want to stroll along the romantic seawall (Malecón) and have a relaxing night or, if you prefer to do something more “energetic”, the tour leader/guide will happily provide you with some tips.

DAY 3 – Friday
Dancing starts! The next four days are devoted to the dancing classes, which include Cuban Salsa and some incursions on Rumba and Despelote. Lessons will be held every morning between 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additional classes will be held in the afternoon between 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The levels of all participants are assessed and classes are tailored to suit existing skills. All our instructors are professional dancers who completed their education at some of Cuba's leading dancing academies.

DAY 4 – Saturday
The dancing program is as on the previous days. In the afternoon we will can visit Sabbado de La Rumba. In the evening we will visit the legendary Casa de la Música de Playa to be welcomed with a refreshing cocktail, host to some of the best live salsa bands. Joined by our dancing instructors!

 DAY 5 – Sunday
The dancing program is as on the previous days. In the afternoon we will be visiting Santa Maria Beach to relax and enjoy some sun, sea and top up that tan. The rest of the evening is at your disposal.

 DAY 6 – Monday
The dancing program is as on the previous days. Additional classes will be held in the afternoon between 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The rest of the evening is at your disposal.

 DAY 7 -  Tuesday
It is our last day in Havana. After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and head to Trinidad were we will check in to Hotel Las Brisas 4(*)

DAY 8 – Wednesday
After breakfast we will start the day with a tour of Trinidad, which is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, an enchanting colonial town, immaculately preserved so that the charms of the 19^th Century are still very much alive. We will visit the Major Square, the museum, and stop for lunch in a local Restaurant. In the evening we will visit the exciting Casa de la Trovas. A selection of bands and artists play on rotation. Join in dancing salsa with the locals.   

DAY 9 – Thursday
This day is for you to relax on the beach and enjoy the facilities of the hotel and the all-inclusive menu. The evening is free for you to enjoy as you choose. The hotel provides entertainment and shows in the evening or we can visit the exciting Cave nightclub.

DAY 10 – Friday
After breakfast we will be checking out of the hotel and we will move back to Havana to Hotel Occidental Miramar 4 (*) The evening is free for you to unwind however you choose.
 

DAY 11 – Saturday
After breakfest we will have our last day of salsa classes. A chance to recap all what you have learnt. In the afternoon you can do a bit of last minute shopping and in the evening we will visit one of the two Casa de La Musica in Havana for our farewell party in Cuba, an opportunity to remember all that you have seen and learnt.

DAY 12 – Sunday
Our last day. In the afternoon, we will take you to the airport for your return flight. You will arrive home the following day.
